A message to our valued customers – COVID-19 update
Dear Friends,
It is with great relief that I can inform you that despite the Illinois order of “shelter in place”, Sipi is exempted from the order due to our services to the medical and construction industries.
This means that our operations will continue as normal without regulatory hindrance. Our copper alloy production and precious metal processing activities will operate as usual, insofar as we can control events. We are of course very mindful of the precautions that we need to continue to take within our facilities and the disruptions outside of our control in the supply chain – which you all are facing as well.
These are very challenging times but we are very grateful that right now we can continue to take care of your needs and of our dedicated team. Sipi has prevailed for over 115 years and we are confident we will weather this storm also. As always, we appreciate and welcome your input and send our prayers to you and your loved ones.
Sincerely,

Marion A. Cameron

Dear Customers,
We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and associates very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
During these challenging times, we want you to know that Sipi is up and running and committed to taking care of your needs. The manufacturing operation of course cannot “operate from home”. We are however taking all the advised precautions to minimize 1:1 contact, maintaining “social distance”, washing hands frequently, deep cleaning all common areas regularly, prohibiting visitors, etc. so that we have the strongest chance of deterring virus introduction or spread.
All your usual contacts at Sipi are ready to provide whatever support will be helpful to you. We are trying to be nimble as circumstances are changing. Please feel free to call to share concerns, request guidance, or just to say “hello”. At times like these, community is vitally important, and even if we can’t shake hands or hug, we can still express our concern. We sincerely wish that you and your loved ones will remain safe. We are confident we will all get through this.
Best Regards,

Marion A. Cameron
