As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Sipi Asset Recovery has taken the steps below to ensure the health and safety of our employees, families and others in our communities.
Illinois’ Governor Pritzker has issued a “Stay At Home” order for the entire state of Illinois on Friday 3/22/2020. Thank you all for your patience while we have been awaiting a legal opinion on Illinois’ Governor Pritzker’s Stay at Home order issue on Friday, March 22nd, 2020. Our legal team has issued an opinion that we will be able to operate on a limited basis. Starting today, Monday March 23rd, 2020, Sipi Asset Recovery’s Elk Grove Village facility will be open to ship and receive product.
Our Hayward, California facility has a mandated business closure for the period of March 16th, 2020 through April 7th, 2020 by Alameda County. Our legal team has issued an opinion that we will be able to operate on a limited basis.
Our Cota/Bogota facilities will be shut down starting today Friday 3/20/2020 due to the government’s mandatory isolation simulation. We are still awaiting legal guidance.
Medellin will also be joining the simulation starting today Friday 3/20/2020 at 7PM. Currently, we do not have any information regarding our Mexico facility but we will update as we receive documentation.
As our options become clearer, we will be in regular communication with our customers via e-mail, phone calls, and by updating our website.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience during these trying times as we figure out what our next steps are. Our intention is to get our facilities up and running immediately upon notification of being legally allowed to do so. We are eager and ready to service your needs.
Stay safe and well,
Eric Dorn
Sr. VP & General Manager
