Sipi Asset Recovery has continued to recognize the hard work and dedication of the employees in our RISE Program (Responsibility, Independence, Self-Empowerment), and we are ready to spread the word. Since the inception of our inclusion program in 2018, with legacy partners Little City, Avenues to Independence and Community Support Services, Sipi has proudly employed more than 15% of our workforce through disability inclusion, and veteran employment opportunities. Just this year, we welcomed several new employees into our RISE program at both our Illinois and California locations.
Sipi has been invited to share our experience regarding our RISE program, an extension of e-Stewards Advance+ Program, by participating in a panel discussion at the E-Scrap Conference (November 8-10, 2021). The event has been slated as a hybrid event with in-person and virtual attendees. Sipi’s Bob Adams, VP of Finance & Operations, will sit alongside a fellow recycler who has also completed the program training, as well as other members of the program staff. “This is an awesome opportunity to provide insight into a labor pool that is often overlooked,” commented Bob.
Sipi is delighted to be working with BlueStarRecyclers and e-Stewards Advance+ Program to spread the word regarding the value of disability inclusion to the electronic recycling industry.
